Today I’ll be speaking with prof. Filipe Mesquita de Oliveira about the project “Sacred Music in Évora during the Eighteenth Century” during the Science and Techology Week of University of Évora.
This is a showcase of I&D research units housed by the university, which includes a Chapter of the CESEM – Centre for the Study of Sociology and Musical Aesthetics, which is based in Lisbon (FCSH-NOVA). We will be talking about the preliminary results of the project so far, and the work during 2016. I will also be speaking of the project “Évora Historical Soundscape” which has been a recent addition to this project.
