Reno erat Rudolphus

Reno erat RudolphusAn interesting plainchant rubric for Christmas time (click in the picture to enlarge). As you may noticed from the title, this rubric originates in the Anglo-saxon culture (You might guess what’s the english translation) and has a sort of responsorial form, although there is no indication to the repetendum. One might suggest that it is very close to the introitus responsorial form… very suitable for today’s Vigil mass.

Wishes of a Merry Christmas to all who read and follow my blog… and everyone else!
