Coro Polifónico Eborae Musica, March 27

Igreja-Vila-FernandoTomorrow I’l be singing with Coro Polifónico Eborae Musica, directed by Pedro Teixeira, two concerts in Elvas. The first, at 11:30, will be in the church of São Brás; the second, at 16:30, will be in the church of Vila Fernando. These concerts are integrated in the festival “A Música Encanta o Património”, which is promoted by the Câmara Municipal of Elvas. We will perform the same programme in both concerts, which focuses in sacred music from the 16th and 17th centuries at Évora Cathedral, like Manuel Mendes and Estêvão Lopes Morago, to 20th-century composers, like Eurico Carrapatoso; also traditional portuguese songs by Fernando Lopes Graça and Eurico Carrapatoso.
